Resolution 099-1982 RESOLUTION NO.99 -1982 RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA TO Cm1PL Y 1.JITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FLORIDA STATUTES 337.25(2) AND FACILITATE PURPOSE AND INTENT OF SAID STATUTE. WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of Florida has, in its session of 1982, passed and adopted Florida Statute Chapter 337.25(2), which requires the Department of Transportation of the State of Florida to inventory all of its lands in the various counties and does by the same provide for ways and means whereby the counties may obtain such unused surplus properties for their own needs, and mIEREAS, the Department of Transportation does have properties within Monroe County contemplated by said Statute, and mIEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County desires and wishes to have implemented terms and conditions of said statutory provision, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY CO~1ISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Department of Transportation of the State of Florida be urged to complete the compilation as required by Chapter 337.25(2) of the Florida Statutes and make available at its earliest possible convenience said properties thus inventoried and complete the transfer thereof as is set forth in said Chapter. Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of 11onroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 8th day of March, A.D. 1982.
