RESOLUTION NO . 359-1983
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO
EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE SUBLEASE BY AND BETWEEN THE
BOARD OF COUNTY 'COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AND THE ISLAMORADA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, INC .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows :
That the Mayor and Chairman of the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Monroe County, Florida, is hereby authorized to
execute an Amendment to the subleaseby and between the Board of
County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, and the
Islamorada Chamber of Commerce , Inc. , a copy of same being
attached hereto , for the purpose of adding additional land to the
original sub lease .
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 16th day of December, A.D . 1983 .

AMENDMENT TO SUBLEASE BY AND BETWEEN
• THE COUNTY OF MONROE AND ISLAMORADA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE , INC .
The Sub-Lease dated the 27th day of May , .1983 , which was
entered into by and between MONROE COUNTY , • FLORIDA, by and
. through the Board• of County Commissioners of said County ,
hereinafter referred to as "Lessor" , and ISLAMORADA CHAMBER OF
COMMERCE , INC . ., a non-profit Florida corporation, hereinafter
referred to as "Lessee'. •
W I T N E S S E T H:
• . WHEREAS , since the parties have entered into said Sub-Lease
as of May 27 , 1983 , and

WHEREAS , the parties desire to amend this Sub-Lease under

the terms and. conditions herein contained by adding thereto the
leasing of certain additional land included in the revised land
•
description below:
• That .part of Section 28 , Township 63 South,
Range 37 East , Upper Matecumbe , Monroe
County, Florida, shown as "not a part of this .
• plat" , as shown on the Plat of Stratton' s
Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 2 at
Page 38 in the Public Records of Monroe
County .being 'more particularly described as

• Begin at the intersection of the North Line •
' of Government Lot 4 of said Section 28 with
the North R/W Line of U. S . 1, thence run
Westerly along the North R/W Line a distance
• of 493 . 97 feet ; thence at Right Angles to the •

• thence- Easterly at right angles to the last
• described course a distance of 389 . 41 feet to
a Point on the North Line of said Government
Lot 4 ; thence Easterly along the North Line •

follows:
1 . That the Sub-Lease dated May 27 , 1983 , is hereby amended
to provide for the leasing of certain additional land included in
the revised land description above . .
2 . This Amendment to the Sub-Lease shall become operative
and effective on the 16th day of December . , A.D . 1983 .
3 . That in all other respects , the Sub-Lease as amended
heretofore remains in full force and effect for the term of the
original Sub-Lease .
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this
Amendment to the Sub-Lease and duplicates thereof to be executed
in their respective names , signed., by their respective officers .
