RESOLUTION NO. 263 -1983
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNTY COMMISSION
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, IN SUPPORT OF THE
UNITED WAY AND CALLING ON ALL MONROE COUNTY
EMPLOYEES TO SUPPORT THE SAME WITH CONTRIBU-
TIONS AND THEIR EFFORTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNTY COMMISSION that after
appeal of the United Way for aid and help, it is with great reluc-
tance that the fiscal plight of the County renders the County
Commission unable to at this time to respond, but it does call upon
all employees in the County to aid and help the United fund in mak-
ing contributions and render efforts in any fashion that they can
to support such a worthwhile civic undertaking.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 30th day of September, A.D. 1983.
