OF THE ZONING BOARD OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA..FITHOUT PREJUDICE AND APPROVING/
D~~HE REQUEST OF MAX RAY & DONNA M.
COCKERHAM TO REVERSE THE DECISION OF THE
ZONING BOARD OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA
DENYING A CHANGE OF ZONING FROM RU-3 TO BU-2R
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Monroe County, Florida, on
February 28, 1983, denied a change of zoning from RU-3 to BU-2R
on the following described property:
A part of Lot 1 according to the Plat of Part of
Government Lot 1, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 41,
and being more particularly described by metes and
bounds as a portion of Parcel A, all being located in
Section 5, Township 64 South, Range 37 East, Upper
Matecumbe Key. M.M. 80.5.
WHEREAS, Max Ray & Donna M. Cockerham have duly appealed
said decision to the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, sitting as the Board of Appeals, and the Board
having reviewed the transcript of the February 28, 1983 hearing,
having considered the argument of all parties present wishing to
speak on the matter, and all premises considered, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, sitting as the BOARD OF APPEALS, as
follows:
1. That the decision of the Zoning Board of Monroe County,
Florida, on February 28, 1983, denying a change of zoning from
RU-3 to
BU-2R as requested by Max Ray & Donna M. Cockerham be,

same is hereby ~/reversed.
and the
2. That the said Max Ray & Donna M. Cockerham be, and they

are hereby granted/~a reversal of the decision of the
Zoning Board of Monroe County, Florida, denying a change of
zoning from RU-3 to BU-2R on the above described property.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 30th day of September
