RESOLUTION NO.179 -1983
A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE EFFORTS OF
MAYOR GEORGE E. DOLEZAL IN BEING RESPONSIBLE
FOR THE MARATHON BRANCH LIBRARY.
WHEREAS, Mayor George E. Dolezal was very instrumental
1n not only providing for the funds, but also providing for
the means for the financing of the Branch Library at Marathon,
and it 1S deemed by the County Commission of Monroe County
that a proper reflection of this effort on the part of the
Mayor, George E. Dolezal, be forever displayed in said Library
building, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNTY COMMISSION OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
A proper plaque be erected in the branch library 1n Marathon,
Florida, showing and reflecting the efforts put forth by Mayor
George E. Dolezal in see1ng that said library became a reality.
That the plaque carryon it words to the effect that Mayor George
E. Dolezal, through his efforts, was the foremost influence in
the building of said Library in Marathon,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of' County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting held on the
10th day
