RESOLUTION NO. 223-1983
RESOLUTION REVERSING THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND GRANTING THE
REQUEST OF LAWRENCE R. DION TO REVERSE THE
DECISION OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT DENYING
A DIMENSIONAL VARIANCE.
WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment of Monroe County, Florida,
denied the request of Lawrence R. Dion, for a dimensional
variance as described below:
A variance of 13 feet, to build up to 12 feet
from the rear setback line on Lot 1, Block 1 of
Summerland Cove Amended Plat, as recorded in Plat
Book 4, Page 135, and located in Section 25, Town-
ship 66 South, Range 28 East. Summerland Key,
M.M. 25. Zoned BU-2.
WHEREAS, Lawrence R. Dion, having duly appealed said
decision to the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, sitting as the Board of Appeals, and the Board having
reviewed the transcript of the April 6, 1983 hearing, having
considered the argument of all parties present wishing to speak
on the matter, and all premises considered, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, sitting as the BOARD OF APPEALS, as
follows:
1. That the decision of the Board of Adjustment of Monroe
County, Florida, of April 6, 1983, denying the dimensional
variance for the above described property for Lawrence R. Dion,
and the same is hereby reversed.
2. That the said Lawrence R. Dion, be, and he is hereby
granted a reversal of the decision of the Board of Adjustment
of Monroe County, Florida, denying the requested dimensional
variance as hereinabove described.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 22ndday of
