A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO . 67-1983

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNTY COMMISSION OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA that :
1 . It be known that the provision in 1983 Senate Resolution
PCB7 and any companion bills to include PCB10-G recommended by the
Department of Natural Resources and before House Committee on natural
resources be opposed because of certain provisions therein which
are untenable to the citizenry of Monroe County.
2 . That specifically Section 5 (c) which calls for 75 feet
from surface waters and a minimal distance could work untold
hardships on Monroe County and the development thereof, and
consequently should be opposed.
3 . That a copy of this amendment to Resolution No . 67-1983
be transmitted by the Clerk of this Commission to the House
Committee on Natural Resources and copies afforded to both members
of the delegation from Monroe County
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNTY COMMISSION OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, at a regular meeting held on the 29th day of
April , A.D. 1983 .
