RESOLUT ION NO. 85- 1981
RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 187-1980 AUTHORIZING
ISSUANCE OF TAX ANTICIPATION WARRANT FOR MUNICIPAL
SERVICE TAXING OR BENEFIT DISTRICT NO.3.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida has previously adopted Resolution No. 187-1980, and
WHEREAS, in order to assure better accounting it is more
desirable to have the Monroe County Tax Collector pay directly
to the County and thereafter for the Municipal Service Taxing
or Benefit District No. 3 solely to pay the necessary funds to
the appropriate lending institution, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY CO~WISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That Resolution No. 187-1980 IS hereby amended such
that Paragraph two (2.) thereof shall read:
"2. That the sum of $126,000.00 with interest thereon at
the rate of 6.20% per annum from date until fully paid, be, and
the same IS hereby authorized to be borrowed from Boulevard Bank,
a banking corporation existing under the laws of the State of
Florida, as same IS needed for the purchase of emergency service
vehicles before the end of fiscal year 1979-80, and the Monroe
County Tax Collector be, and he IS hereby authorized to pay to
Monroe County from the proceeds of taxes levied by Municipal
Service Taxing District No.3 of Monroe County, State of Florida,
on all taxable pronerty In said Municipal Service Taxing or
Benefit District No.3 for the years 1980-81 and 1981-82, for
the use and benefit of said Municipal Service Taxing or Benefit
District No. 3 when said taxes have been collected and received
by said Tax Collector in amount sufficient to repay the principal
sum of $126,000.00 and any interest that may be due thereon if
said sum is borrowed."
2. That all other terms and conditions of said Resolution
No. 187-1980 shall remain in full force and effect.

7th day of April, 1981.
