RESOLUTION NO.132 -1981
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT BY AND BETWEEN THE MONROE COUNTY
MUNICIPAL SERVICE DISTRICT AJ\)D THE COUNTY OF MONROE,
STATE OF FLORIDA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida is hereby authorized to execute a contract
by and between the Monroe County Municipal Service District and
the County of Monroe, State of Florida, a copy of same being
attached hereto.
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 21st day of April, A.D. 1981.

IN CONStDf;RATION of the mutual covenants and promises herein
contained, the parties her~to agree as follows:
1. The District agrees to pay to the County the total sum
of the balance of th~ monies, in account designated Pollution Con-
teol No. 978-534 as of April 21, 1981 for the performance l[ the
~~rv1CBS a~ herein agreed to be performed by the County. The
C:unty sh~ll use sa1J monies solely for the performance of the

i.. The ~ounty shall, 1n consideration of the sum heretofore
set forth, agl::c'es to perform the geJ}.eral program known as "Clean-u.p
the Keys'-'! ~"hi~~< shall include.', but not be .limited to:

i~ necpssary to eliminate illegal Jumping and/or waste disposal.

Clean up the various canals throughout the Keys

sauant to Monroe County Code of Ordinance~ Section 8-30 and to
coordinate such ~ctivities'with the Manager of the District and to
provide iuc~ data and~infotmation to the Manager such that appro-
priate liens can be filed in' accordance wit}) Sections 8-30 and
8-31.of Chapter 8 of the Monroe County Code of Ordinances.

3. Th~ County shall keep accurate records of all costs
paid for the operation or benefits of the performance of the
"Clean-up the Keys" Program.

The District a&rees to lease to the Co~nty from the sum
