RESOLUTION ADOPTING COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE ORDERS
AND AUTHORIZING CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE SAME.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY C0MMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That the Board does hereby approve and adopt County
Administrative Orders, a copy of same being attached hereto.
2. That the Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized to
execute said Administrative Orders.
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 16th day of June, A.D. 1981.

Before any public highway, street, road, alley can be abandoned,
it will be necessary for the Petitioner to provide the County
with a map/plat/sketch of his property, prove that the abandonment
will not take away the right of ingress or egress from any
property ownez-, be responsible for all costs of advertising and
recording fees relative to the abandonment, provide the County
with letters of no objections from all utility companies, provide
the County with names and addresses of adjacent property owners
and to pay for two independent appraisals, one appraisor to be
selected by the Petitioner and one by the County.

There shall be no Transfer of Funds in the Monroe County
Budget unless said transfer is reviewed by the Finance
Officer, Clerk's Office, approved by the County Administrator,
a Resolution prepared by the County Attorney, and said
Resolution approved and adopted by the County Commission.

Photocopying Fees

Administrative Order
Effective: June 16,
Policy As allowed by State Public Records Law, the
Board of County Commissioners may enact a fee
for Photocopying of public documents for an amount
not to exceed the actual cost to the County of
making the copies.
The fee shall include all County departments.
Procedure With the exception of the Press and all
Government agencies, the public will be charged
fifteen cents(15�) per page after the first
complimentary page.
Citizens bringing in their own documents for
photocopying shall also be subject to this policy.

Travel Requests/Reimbursement
Authority All County employees authorized to travel within

accordance with rates and allowances as set forth
in 'ection 112.061, Florida Statutes.
Policy All travel performed by any County employee must

Vehicle Assignment

Policy It is the policy of the Board of County Commissioners
that the County Administrator may assign County
` vehicles on a twenty-four(24) hour basis to
employees.
Procedure The County Administrator, all Department Heads,
and employees subject to twenty-four(24) hour call
are automatically assigned County vehicles on a
24-hour basis.
All other employees must have written permission
from their department head and approval of the
County Administrator.

Employee Indentification Card
Policy All County employees will be issued an Identification
(ID) Card.
Procedure The Personnel Department will prepare the Card while
the new employee is being processed. The Card will
be issued following successful completion of his/her
physical examination.
Upon employment termination, for whatever reason, it
is the responsibility of the Department Head to
retrieve an employees ID Card. The ID Card must be
sent to the Personnel Department with the Personnel
Action form which terminates the employee.
If an employee claims to have lost the card and is
unable to surrender it, a signed, notarized statement
must be sent to the Personnel Department in'lieu of
the ID Card. The cost of the Cards will be borne by
the Personnel Department and included in its budget.

Preparation of Resolutions for Presentation to
the Commission
The County attorney, when requested, shall prepare Resolutions
which shall be delivered to the Chairman. All Resolutions
presented to the Commission must be in writing and must be
signed by the County Attorney attesting to the correct form
and legal -�urciciency of the document. A Resolution authorizing
the Commission to execute a Contract shall have a copy of the
Contract Agreement attached which shall also be approved by
the County :'attorney as to form and legal sufficiency.
