A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE DESIGNATION TOW AWAY
ZONE IN THE PARKING LOT FOR VISITORS TO THE LIGHT-
HOUSE MUSEUM OFF WHITEHEAD STREET IN KEY WEST,
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Commission has the power under Section 11-2 (b)
of the Monroe County Code to designate tow away zones, and
WHEREAS, the problems caused by unauthorized users of park-
ing spaces in the lot reserved to visitors to the Lighthouse
Museum off Whitehead Street have reached proportions requiring
the designation of such a zone, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MON-
ROE COUNTY, FLORIDA that the above described area be and hereby
is designated as a tow away zone under the provisions of Section
11-2 (b) of the Monroe County Code, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works
is hereby directed to procure and erect such signs as may be
necessary and proper under the provisions of the Ordinance.
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting held on the 15th day
of December, 1981.
