Monroe County, CA M 04-379. ITEM BACKGROUND The County Attorney's office is requesting guidance from the Board on litigation expenditures in the recent takings case that was filed against the County. Present at the meeting on January 19, 2005, will be the Mayor and Commissioners, County Administrator Tom Willi, County Attorney Richard Collins, Assistant County Attorney Bob Shillinger, and special counsel Bob Freilich. The Government in the Sunshine Ad requires that a cJosed session be requested at a publiC meeting held prior to the date of the closed session. PREVIOUS RELEVANT 80CC ACTION On11130104, the Board authorized the County Attorney to retain the firm of Freilich, Leitner & Carlise to represent the County in this matter.
