Ordinance 006-1984Commissioner Edwin c ORDINANCE NO. 006-19g4 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF MONROE, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, BE AMENDED BY REVISING CHAPTER 3, ANIMALS AND FOWL, AND CHAPTER 8, GARBAGE, TRASH AND REFUSE, FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING DISTRICT ELEVEN HEALTH INSPECTORS FOR THE STATE OF FLORIDA LIMITED HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS INSPECTORS UNDER THE CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. ift, III BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: Section 1. That Section 3-15 of Chapter 6, Animals and Fowl, of the Code of Ordinances of Monroe County, Florida, be amended by adding said section to read as follows: "Section 3-15. State Health Inspectors. For the purposes of enforcing Code Section 3-1, 3-7, 3-8 and 3-9 District Eleven Health Inspectors for the State of Florida shall be Health Code Violations Inspectors for Monroe County. They shall come under the control of the Chief Violations Inspector for the purpose of enforcing the Code of Monroe County. Any violation they wish to present to the Code Enforcement Board shall first be approved by the Chief Violations Inspector." Section 2. That Section 8-39 of Chapter 8, Garbage, Trash and Refuse, of the Code of Ordinances of Monroe County, Florida, be amended by adding said section read as follows: "Section 8-39. State Health Inspectors. For the purposes of enforcing Code Sections 8-28, 8-30 and 8-32, District Eleven Health Inspectors for the State of Florida shall be Health Code Violations Inspectors for Monroe County. They shall come under the control of the Chief Violations Inspector in any activities concerning the enforcement of the Monroe County Code, and any violations they wish to present to the Code Enforcement Board shall have to be approved by the Chief Violations Inspector." Section 3. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or provision of this Ordinance is held invalid, the remainder of this Ordinance shall not be affected by such invalidity. Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of said conflict. Section 5. The provisions of this Ordinance shall be included and incorporated in the Code of Ordinances of the County of Monroe, Florida, as an addition or amendment thereto, and shall be appropriately renumbered to conform to the uniform numbering system of the Code. Section 6. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon receipt of official notice from the Office of the Secretary of State of the State of Florida that this Ordinance has been filed with said Office.
