ORDINANCE NO . 2° -1976
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE EMPLOYMENT OF STEVEN
SAWYER, ENGINEERING CLERK, UNDER CETA TITLE II
AS OF JULY 1, 1976 ; APPROVING PAYMENT OF SALARY
TO SAID EMPLOYEE FROM JULY 1, 1976 , AND AUTHORIZING
CLERK TO PAY SAID SALARY; DECLARING THIS ORDINANCE
TO BE AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE ; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the employment of Steven Sawyer as an
Engineering Clerk for the Monroe County Waste Collection and
Disposal District under CETA Title II is hereby approved as of
July 1, 1976 , and the payment of his salary from said effective
date is hereby approved by said Board and the Clerk of said Board
is hereby directed to make said payment.
Section 2. That an emergency exists and that immediate
enactment of this ordinance is necessary in order to make the
necessary salary payment to said employee.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be deemed to be filed
and shall take effect when a copy has been accepted by the postal
authorities of the government of the United States for special
delivery by registered mail to the Department of State .
