Ordinance 007-1975 ® ® _ ORDINANCE NO . 7 -1975 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND ENABLING THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS OUT OF THE GENERAL REVENUE FUND OF THE 1974-1975 MONROE COUNTY BUDGET FOR THE MONROE COUNTY COUNCIL ON THE AGING, INC . , A FLORIDA NON-PROFIT CORPORATION, FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A NUTRITION PROGRAM FOR THE AGED; LIMITING THE PUR- POSE FOR WHICH SAID FUNDS MAY BE USED BY SAID COR- PORATION; DECLARING THE OPERATION OF SAID NUTRITION PROGRAM TO BE A COUNTY, WELFARE, AND PUBLIC PURPOSE; REPEALING ALL SPECIAL LAWS , ORDINANCES, AND RESOLU- TIONS IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE . BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida may appropriate funds out of the General Revenue Fund of the 1974-75 Monroe County Budget to the Monroe County Council on the Aging, Inc. , a Forida non-profit corporation for the purpose of operating its nutrition program for the aged. Section 2 . Any funds appropriated hereunder shall be ex- pended by said Monroe County Council on the Aging, Inc. , a Florida non-profit corporation, only for payment of salaries for persons employed in said program, withholding taxes , and Social Security taxes . Section 3 . The operation of said nutrition program and the funds expended therefor are hereby decreed to be a County, welfare and public purpose. Section 4. All Special Laws , Ordinances , Resolutions , rules and regulations in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the ex- tent of said conflict. Section 5 . This Ordinance shall take effect upon receipt of the official acknowledgment from the Department of_ State acknow- ledging receipt of certified copy of this Ordinance and that said Ordinance has been filed in said office .
