To Commissioner George Nugent,
This is the third letter, for the last eight years my family had been waiting
for a chance to build, an urgently needed by us home of adequate size on our building lot
located on Big Pine Key. During the last four years I had frequently contacted you asking
to treat this matter as a priority and an emergency. During those four years I got very
little response from you and no action. Therefore I am requesting from you a record of
phone calls, letters, or any other activity that you undertook in the recent years in this
matter. If this situation will continue we are facing yet another hurricane season, in a
home of a lesser strength than the new one we could have and also of adequate size to
house all necessary things for daily life. The coming years of the Hurricane season are
predicted by scientists to be very active. In the recent Hurricane Wilma my family has
sustained significant financial damage and our situation has become more critical. We
cannot count on simple luck and we cannot waste more years of waiting.
