RE: Agenda Item - Request for Expenditutes from Law Enforcement
Trust Fund
Dear Mr. Roberts:
I would like to request that the Commission authorize the following
expenditures from the Law Enforcement Trust Fund:
$650,000
This sum funds salaries and fringe benefits of officers assigned to
the IMP ACT Task Force. Based in Coral Gables, IMPACT is a
multi-jurisdictional money laundering task force comprised of
federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
TOTAL: $650,000.00
I hereby certify that these expenditures are lawful pursuant to the Florida
Contraband Act. There will be no recurring expenses in the existing budget.
