12/08/2006 Special 304 MINUTES OF THE MONROE COUNTY BOARD OF' COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Special Meeting Board of County Commissioners Friday, December 8, 2006 Key West, Florida A Special Meeting of the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners convened at 5:01 P.M., at the Harvey Government Center. Present and answering to roll call were Commissioner Charles "Sonny" McCoy, Commissioner Sylvia Murphy, Commissioner Dixie M. Spehar and Mayor Mario DiGennaro. Absent was Commissioner George R. Neugent. Also present were Suzanne Hutton, County Attorney; Thomas Willi, County Administrator; Danny L. Kolhage, Clerk; County Staff, members of the press and radio; and the general public. All stood for the Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR B 1 Motion was made by Commissioner Spehar and seconded by Commissioner McCoy accepting all award from the South Florida Workforce for an Employed Worker Training Program. Motion carried unanimously. B2 Motion was made by Commissioner Spehar and seconded by Commissioner McCoy granting approval and authorizing execution of an Agreement between Monroe County and Corporate Consulting & Coaching, Inc. to provide training services to Monroe County employees. Motion carried unanimously. B3 Motion was made by Commissioner Spehar and seconded by Commissioner McCoy granting approval and authorizing execution of an Interlocal Agreement, as revised, between Monroe County and the City of Key West for the sinking of the USS Gen. H.S. Vandenberg. Roll call vote was unanimous. PUBLIC HEARING C I A Public Hearing was held to consider adoption of a Resolution by the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners transmitting to the Department of Community Affairs an Ordinance adopting an amendment to the Monroe County Year 2010 Comprehensive Plan to include a Tier Overlay District Map designation on all land in unincorporated Monroe County in the Florida Keys between Key West and Ocean Reef and designating boundaries for Tier 0, Tier I, Tier II, Tier III, Tier III-A (Special Protection Areas), and Tier 4 pursuant to the criteria in Policy 105.2.1 of the Monroe County 2010 Comprehensive Plan. Aref Joulani, Planning Director and Suzanne Hutton, County Attorney addressed the Board. The Board accepted public input with the following individual addressing the Board: H.T. Pontin. Tom Willi, County Administrator also addressed the Board. No official action was taken. 305 Then: being no further business, the meeting of the Board of County Commissioners was adjourned. Danny L.
