12/16/1991 Special ww 208 Special Meeting Board of County Commissioners Monday, December 16, 1991 Key West A Special Meeting of the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners convened at 3:00 p.m. on the above date in the Chapel at the Public Service Building on Stock Island in Key West. Present and answering to roll call were Commissioner Earl Cheal, Commissioner Douglas Jones, and Mayor Pro Tern Jack London. Absent from the meeting were Commissioner John Stormont and Mayor Wilhelmina Harvey. Also present were Danny Kolhage, Clerk; Randy Ludacer, County Attorney; Tom Brown, County Administrator; County Staff; members of the Press and Radio; and the general public. All stood for the Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. DIVISION OF PUBLIC WORKS Motion was made by Commissioner Jones and seconded by Commissioner Cheal to accept the proposal and award a Contract with Cardel Fire Protection, Inc. for the installa- tion of a sprinkler system in the Marathon Government Center Annex in the amount of $50,182.00. Motion carried unani- mously. Motion was made by Commissioner Jones and seconded by Commissioner Cheal to approve and authorize execution of a Lease Agreement with Williams Mobile Offices for rental of a modular office/trailer for the Sheriff's Staff in Plantation Key in the amount of $450.00 per month plus $2,500.00 to block and level, contingent upon the County Attorney's approval. Roll call vote was unanimous. DIVISION OF MANAGEMENT SERVICES Motion was made by Commissioner Jones and seconded by Commissioner London to approve the request to advertise a Public Hearing for January 7, 1992, at 5:05 p.m., regarding a Budget Amendment for the Unincorporated Parks and Beaches Fund #717. Motion carried unanimously. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. * * * * *
