Present and answering to roll call were Commissioners Earl Cheal, Shirley Freeman, Mary Kay Reich, Wilhelaina Harvey, and Mayor London. Also present were Danny L. Xolhaqe, Clerk; Isabel C. DeSantis, Deputy Clerk; Randy LUdacer, County Attorney; James ROberts, County Administrator; County Staff; members of the Press and Radio; and the general public. A Mayors' Proclamation was made proclaiainq the week of July 10-16, 1994 as Reef Awareness Week. Motion was made by COlUDissioner Cheal and seconded by Co.-issioner Freeaan granting approval to adverti.e an ordinance aaendinq the Tourist Development Plan Section 2-300(8)(4), Monroe County Code, deletinq the restriction on 35' of the first two cents that funds be distributed by district percentaqe; Providinq for severability; Providing for the repeal of all Ordinance. inconsistent herewith; Providing for the incorporation into the Monroe Code; and providing an effective date. Motion was ..de by Co_is.ioner Harvey and seconded by Coaaissionar Cheal to adopt the follovinq Resolution to participate in the funding for transportation of naval personnel and visitors during the period ~ncing July 15, 1994 and continuing for one week to provide vater borne transportation for '4/20' visits to the u.s.s. Mr. Roberts advised the Board that the current Tentative Aggregate Millage rate for Fiscal Year 1994-95 represents an 8.8' increase over Fiscal Year 1993-94. Westerfield, discussed the Judicial's Proposed Tentative Budget for Piscal Year 1994/95.
