Present and answering to roll call were co_issioners Earl Cheal, Shirley Freeman, Mary Kay Reich, Wilhelaina Harvey, and Mayor London. Also present were Danny L. Kolhage, Clerk; Randy Ludacer, County Attorney; Jaaes Roberts, County Acblinistrator; County Staff; members of the Press and Radio; and the general public. All stood for the Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance. Prior to the special meeting, Commissioner Harvey advised the Board and all present that there would be a military band concert open to the public at Bayview Park at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 1994 and invited all to attend. He indicated that 50t ot the an Assistant County Attorney's position was to be tunded by airports and that he was eliainating one Assistant County Attorney position in the amount ot $46,230.00 with appropriate reductions in aatching costs. During discussion, motion was made by Co..issioner Reich and seconded by Commissioner Cheal to not fund the request for an additional position in the Public Information Oft ice. Roll call vote was taken with the following results: Commissioner Cheal Yes Commissioner Preeman No Commissioner Harvey No Commissioner Reich Yes Mayor London Yes Motion carried.
