A Special Meeting of the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners
convened at 2:00 P.M., at the Harvey Government Center. Present and answering to roll call
were Commissioner Sylvia Murphy, Commissioner David Rice, Commissioner Kim Wigington,
and Mayor Heather Carruthers. Absent was Commissioner George Neugent. Also present at the
meeting were Roman Gastesi, County Administrator; Debbie Frederick, Assistant County
Administrator; Suzanne Hutton, County Attorney; Isabel C. DeSantis, Deputy Clerk; County
Staff, members of the press and radio; and the general public.
FISCAL YEAR 2012 BUDGET MEETING
Roman Gastesi, County Administrator gave a Power Point Presentation called
Community Pride. Mr. Gastesi presented an Overview for the Proposed Fiscal Year 2012
Budget and discussed the document entitled Monroe County, Florida Board of County
Commissioners, Fiscal Year 2012 Proposed Budget, Roman Gastesi Jr., County Administrator,
dated July 12, 2011, Key West, FL.
There being no further business, the meeting of the Board of County
Commissioners was adjourned.
