A Special Meeting of the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners
convened at 11:00 A.M., at the Murray E. Nelson Government & Cultural Center. Present and
answering to roll call were Commissioner Heather Carruthers, Commissioner Sylvia Murphy,
Commissioner George Neugent, Commissioner Kim Wigington and Mayor David P. Rice.
ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS, DELETIONS
Item A There were no additions, corrections or deletions made to the agenda. An audio
of this meeting was provided to the Clerk of Courts by Monroe County's Coordinator
TV/Multimedia Specialist - Jethon Williams, II.
COUNTY ATTORNEY
Item B1 Natileene Cassel, Assistant County Attorney read the required information into
the record pursuant to F.S. 286.011 (8) and requested that a Closed Session be held in the matter
of Florida Key Deer v. Craig Fugate, et al., 90- 10037 -CIV. Motion was made by Commissioner
Neugent and seconded by Commissioner Carruthers granting approval to schedule an
Attorney - Client Closed Session of the Bord of County Commissioners at 2:00 p.m. at the
December 14, 2011 BOCC regular meeting in Marathon, FL. Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business, the meeting of the Board of County
Commissioners was adjourned.
