A special meeting of the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners was called by Mayor
David Rice pursuant to Section 1.02 of the BOCC Administrative Procedures. Each Commissioner was
notified of the meeting by e -mail. The special meeting convened at 2:00 p.m. at the Harvey Government
Center. Present and answering to roll call were Commissioner Heather Carruthers, Commissioner Danny
Kolhage and Mayor David Rice. Absent were Commissioner Sylvia Murphy and Commissioner George
Neugent. Also present at the meeting were Sheryl Graham, Acting County Administrator; Bob Shillinger,
County Attorney; Kevin Madok, Clerk of Court; Pamela Hancock, Deputy Clerk; county staff and the
general public.
ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS, DELETIONS
Al There were no additions, corrections or deletions to the agenda.
COMMISSIONER'S ITEM
BI Motion was made by Commissioner Kolhage and seconded by Commissioner Carruthurs
authorizing the closing of County offices on December 26, 2017. Motion carried unanimously, with
Commissioner Murphy and Commissioner Neugent not present.
COMMISSIONER'S COMMENTS
C The Board wished everyone a Happy Holiday.
There being no further business, the meeting of the Board of County Commissioners was
adjourned.
