A Special Meeting of the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners convened at
2:00 P.M" on the above date at the Marathon Government Center. Present and answering to roll
call were Commissioner Charles "Sonny" McCoy, Commissioner George Neugent, Commissioner
David P. Rice, Commissioner Dixie Spehar and Mayor Murray E. Nelson, Also present were
Isabel C. DeSantis, Clerk; Richard Collins, County Attorney; James Roberts, County
Administrator; County Staff, members of the press and radio; and the general public,
All stood for the Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.
ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS AND DELETIONS
There were no Additions, Corrections, or Deletions made to the agenda.
COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR SELECTION PROCESS
Colin Baenziger of the firm Colin Baenziger & Associates discussed the selection process
for the new County Administrator, pending the approval of a formal contract. The Board then
cast their ballot, as follows:

Me Baenziger addressed the Board and announced that David Bullock had received the
highest votes. During discussion, Commissioner Neugent changed his vote to David Bullock
Motion was made by Commissioner McCoy and seconded by Commissioner Rice authorizing the
County Attorney and the Mayor to enter into contract negotiations with the number one choice -
David Bullock Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business, the meeting of the Board of County Commissioners was
adjourned.
