ITEM BACKGROUND:
Due to billing problems, we have been unable to pay Bell South under our contract with them for 911
improvement equipment purchased in 1999. The fiscal year 2001 budget needs to be adjusted to cover this cost.
PREVIOUS REVELANT BOCC ACTION:
The Board of County Commissioners adopted the Fiscal Year 2001 budget on September 20,2000. On March
21,2001 the Board gave approval to advertise for a budget amendment to the 911 Enhancement Fund, #150.

WHEREAS, it is necessary to conduct a public hearing as required by section 129.03, Florida Statutes, to amend the
Monroe County 911 Enhancement Fee Fund, #150, for the fiscal year ending September 30,2001, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that a
Public Hearing was conducted on April 18, 2001, at 5:05 p.m. to amend the 911 Enhancement Fee Fund, #150,
budget and to adopt an amended budget as follows:
