Couple of things I'd like to see at the workshop
Reggie:
When we meet for our workshop Apri/14th, I'd like to make sure that we:
a) take a look at impacts of various re-districting efforts? What would have happened to the taxes for everyone if
we'd changed the current configuration?
b) gather together information from various reports and get input from the volunteer fire corps that have the
greatest and most committed volunteer turn-outs and find out from them what we can do to help with the volunteer
effort.

To All Monroe County Commissioners
RE: Stock Island Concern Citizens
My name is Martha Stroble I am a 30 years Monroe county
resident and property owner in the community of Stock
Island for the last 23 years. I had planned to attend today's
County Commissioners meeting at the Harvey Center, but
unfortunately I will not be able to be present, however, 1
thought I could addressed you by fax.
The residents of Stock Island, families and properties are
facing a dilemma, actually I will call it a state of emergency
due to the lack of fire protection that we discover was not
available to us. Our community needs to have a 24 hours
reliable fire department, employed by a crew of
professionals fire fighters that can provided us with a quick
timely response. I would like to remain this partel that, our
community (a body of about five thousand residents) is
compress of 70 to 80 percent mobile homes which can be
totally destroy in approximately 7 minutes. Needless to say
the potential loss of lives and lifetime investments for some
of our residents has become a constant concern.
We need your support to allows to put a temporary plan of
action in place until we can built a Fire Station in our
community.
Respectfully,
Martha Stroble
