MONROE COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
Any person who wishes to be heard shall provide the Clerk with his or her name and residence
and the agenda item on which he or she wishes to be heard. Such information shall be on a card
provided by the County. Once public input begins, there will be no further speaker cards allowed
to be submitt,~d to the Clerk for that subject. An individual has three minutes and a person
representing an organization has five minutes to address the Board (except that individuals
wishing to speak during public hearings pertaining to land use issues will have five minutes). The
first person representing the organization will be allowed the five minutes. Subsequently, all other
speakers on behalf of that organization have three minutes to address the Board. Once an
individual has addressed the Board, he or she will not be permitted to return to the podium for
follow-up comments, unless the issue involved is quasi judicial in nature. In that case, the
applicant may return to the podium to conclude his or her position at the end of the public
hearing.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
that on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Harvey Government
Center, 1200 Truman Avenue, Key West, Monroe County, Florida, a special
workshop meeting will be held of the Board of County Commissioners regarding
COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR'S
PERFORMANCE EV ALUA TION
The purpose of the meeting is for workshop discussion between the Board of County
Commiss:ioners and the County Administrator for purposes of performance
evaluation, as set forth in his contract. The evaluation of the County Administrator
will be conducted in workshop format without public speakers. Any communications
the public wishes to make to Commissioners on this subject should be made before
the meeting. The public is invited to attend but the workshop format will not
accommodate speakers from the general public.
Additional matters may be added to the Special Meeting Agenda pursuant to County
Administrative Policies.
Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, notice is given that if a person
decides to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter
considered at such hearings or meetings, he will need a record of the proceedings, and
that, for such purpose, he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the
proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which
the appeal is to be based.
