Resolution 140-1990 . /' ~: 1! . /' Diane Heberle 'Sit FEB 2() P 2 :1 6 RESOLUTION NO. 140 -1990 1'1Oi:: WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, desires to renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the public in and to the hereinafter described streets, alley-ways, roads or highways, and WHEREAS, due notice has been published and a public hearing has been held in accordance with Chapter 336, Florida Statutes, and WHEREAS, at said public hearing the Board considered the argument of all parties present wishing to speak on the matter, and all premises considered concerning the renouncing and disclaiming of any right of the County and the public in and to the hereinafter described streets, alley-ways, roads or highways as delineated on the hereinafter described map or plat, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: 1. That the Board hereby renounces and disclaims any right of the County and the public in and to the following described streets, alley-ways, roads or highways as delineated on the hereinafter described map or plat, to-wit: a parcel of land on the Island of Big Coppitt in part of Government Lot 3, Section 22, Township 67 South, Range 26 East, said parcel of land to be abandoned by the County to become a portion of Lot 11 and 12, Block 5 of Johnsonvi1le Subdivision according to Plat Book 1 at Page 53 of the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: Begin at the intersection of the Westerly right of way boundary line of Second Street with the Southerly right of way boundary line of Avenue "A", said point of intersection being the Point of Beginning of the parcel of land herein being described; thence run Westerly along the Southerly boundary line of Avenue "A" 60.0 feet to a point; thence at right angles in a Northerly direction 1.0 foot to a point; thence at right angles in a Northerly direction 60.0 feet to a point on the Westerly right of way boundary line of Second Street; thence at right angles in a Southerly direction along the said Westerly right of way line 1.0 foot to the point of beginning. 2. That the Clerk of the Board is hereby directed to publish notice of the adoption of this Resolution in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 336, Florida Statutes. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the l1!h day of February, A.D. 1990.
