~::(,~ RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
o ~NERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ABOLISHING
TfIE SIGN ORDINANCE COMMITTEE AND RESCINDING
ITS MOTION OF SEPTEMBER 15, 1987, CREATING
THE SAME
WHEREAS, on September 15, 1987, the Board of County Commis-
sioners, by motion, established a Sign Ordinanee Committee to
review the old Land Use Plan regulations eoncerning signs; and
WHEREAS, the work of the Sign Ordinance has been completed
with the adoption of a eomprehensive sign ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is desirous of
maintaining an orderly establishment and funetion of various
Boards and Committees; and
WHEREAS, on January 10, 1990, the Board of County Commis-
sioners determined that eertain Boards and Committees whose
funetions and purposes were no longer currently needed, in
eontext of their original authorization; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is desirous of
reestablishing those certain Boards and Committees, only in
context of the then eurrent need and purposes, at any time in the
future; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That the Board of County Commissioners hereby dissolves
the Sign Ordinance Committee, its working having been completed,
and rescinds its motion of September 15, 1987, creating same.
2. That if in the future, such committee requires reestab-
lishment, sueh reestablishment shall be in the then eurrent
context of need and purpose.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
