RESOLUTION NO. 176 -1990 A;.~RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS- SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 140-1990 IN ORDER TO CORRECT A S~IVENORS ERROR IN THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION ~ONCERNING THE ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF ;\BNUE A, JOHNSONVILLE SUBDIVISION, BIG .c:~~PITT KEY, MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA. - :I: WHEREAS, on February 13, 1990, the Board of County Commis- sioners of Monroe County, Florida, adopted Resolution No. 140-1990 concerning the abandonment of a portion of Avenue A, Johnsonville Subdivision, Big Coppitt Key, Monroe county, Florida, and WHEREAS, the Board hereby desires to amend Section 1 of Resolution No. 140-1990 in order to correct a scrivenors error contained therein concerning the legal description of the above-referenced road abandonment, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: 1. Section 1 of Resolution No. 140-1990 is hereby corrected nunc pro tunc to read as follows: "1. That the Board hereby renounces and disclaims any right of the County and the public in and to the following described streets, alley-ways, roads or highways as delineated on the hereinafter described map or plat, to-wit: a parcel of land on the Island of Big Coppitt in part of Government Lot 3, Section 22, Township 67 South, Range 26 East, said parcel of land to be abandoned by the County to become a portion of Lot 11 and 12, Block 5 of Johnsonville Subdivision according to Plat Book 1 at Page 53 of the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: Begin at the intersection of the Westerly right of way boundary line of Second Street with the Southerly right of way boundary line of Avenue "A", said point of intersection being the Point of Beginning of the parcel of land herein being described; thence run Westerly along the Southerly boundary line of Avenue "A" 60.0 feet to a point; thence at right angles in a Northerly direction 1.0 foot to a point; thence at right angles in a NeFehe~~y Easterly direction 60.0 feet to a point on the Westerly right of way boundary line of Second Street; thence at right angles in a Southerly direction along the said Westerly right of way line 1.0 foot to the point of beginning." 2. That in all other respects, Resolution No. 140-1990 remains in full force and effect. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 7th day of March, A.D. 1990. Attorney's Office NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION RENOUNCING AND DISCLAIMING ANY RIGHT OF THE COUNTY OF MONROE AND THE PUBLIC IN AND TO CERTAIN STREETS, AS DELINEATED ON A CERTAIN RECORDED PLAT.
