A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ADMINISTRATIVE
BOUNDARY INTERPRETATION OF THE PLANNING
DIRECTOR IN LAND USE DISTRICT MAP BOUNDARY
INTERPRETATION NUMBER 57 PLANTATION BEACH
SUBDIVISION I..OT 18, BLOCK 10
WHEREAS, the praperty described in the Planning Department
Repart af February 20, 1990, Lat 18, Black 10, Plantatian Beach
Subdivisian, was zaned BU-1 under the zaning cade priar to.
September 15, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the current Land Use district baundaries were placed
in errar with the adaptian of the September 15,1986 Land Develap-
ment Regulatians, and therefare the subsequent maps were also. in
error, as they did nat follaw the previaus demarcated cammercial
baundary;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT:
The administrative decision of the Planning Directar in Land
Use District Map Baundary Interpretatian Number 57 datett February
20, 1989, which recammends appraval is hereby acknawledged and
faund to. be in canfarmance with the standards set farth in Sectian
9.5-3(m), Monrae Caunty Cade, and therefare appraved.

Relocate SCjIS-M boundary line so as to include Lot 18, Block 10, Planta-
tion Beach Subdivision within the SC zoning designation.
Background:
Lot 18, Block 10, Plantation Beach Subdivision was zoned SC at the time
of adoption of the Land Use Plan on September 15, 1986. It was zoned
BU-1 under the previous code. In August of 1987, surrounding properties
owners were notified of inclusion in Map Amendment #310, an amendment
that would serve to re-zone a number of properties and re-designate them
as IS-M. Notification was sent via certified mail; Monroe County
records show that the subject property owner never received said.notifi-
cation; it was returned to County offices as "unclaimed".
The Planning Department is requesting a boundary determination for lot
18, Block 10, Plantation Beach Subdivision to correct an error in bounda-
ry placement that was made at the time of adoption of Map Am~ndment
#310, on June 27, 1988. Boundary determination to correct placement of
re-zoning boundary line.

I) INTRODUCTION
The Planning Department is requesting a boundary determination
for Lot 18, Block 10, Plantation Beach Subdivision to correct an
error in boundary placement that was made at the time of adop-
tion of Map Amendment i310, on June 27, 1988.
II) PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Boundary determination to correct placement of re-zoning bounda-
ry line.
III) STAFF REVIEW
Lot 18, Block 10, Plantation Beach Subdivision was zoned SC at
