RESOLUTION NO. 202-1990
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, CREATING
AN ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE AND A TRANSPORTATION
COMMITTEE TO REVIEW ISSUES TO BE INCLUDED IN
THE COUNTY'S FUTURE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.
WHEREAS, Monroe County is in the process of drafting its
State-mandated Comprenhensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of this
County that there be maximum citizen input during the short time
available for the Plan; and
WHEREAS, two of the most critical elements of any future
Plan will be the issues of environment and transportation; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board hereby creates an
Environment Committee and a Transportation Committee with one
member of each committee to be appointed by each Commissioner.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the Z!h day of March, A.D. 1990.
