~;R~LUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
CO~SSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR/CHAIRMAN OF THE
BOARD TO REQUEST THE UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA, DEPT. OF NAVY AMEND THE GRANT OF
EASEMENT EXECUTED ON FEBRUARY 23, 1960.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Mayor/Chairman of the Board is
hereby authorized to request that the Grant of Easement,
executed on February 23, 1960, by the United States of America,
Dept. of the Navy, to Monroe County, Florida, a copy of same
being attached hereto, be amended as follows:
Page two (2), Paragraph one (1).....
Remove the following:
....(3) the prohibition against the congregation of
people; and.....
Insert the following:
....(3) the congregation of people in the area described
herein as the glide angle plane, now known as the clear
zone is prohibited. This prohibition does not apply to the
area herein described as the imaginary plane adjacent to
the glide angle plane, now known as the transition zone,
