A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AUTHOR I ZING THE AMENDMENT OF RESOLUTION
NO. 119-1990, PASSED AND ADOPTED BY
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
~ONgpE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AT A REGULAR
~E~NG HELD ON THE 13nd DAY OF FEBRUARY
t99~, A.D., PROVIDING THAT CERTAIN
NAMED CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS ARE
VESTED WITH THE POWER TO ISSUE CITATIONS
AND NOTICES TO APPEAR IN COUNTY COURT FOR
VIOLATIONS OF THE MONROE COUNTY CODE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY~E BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, hereby amends Resolution No. 119-1990,
passed by said Board on the 13nd day of February, 1990, A.D. to
authorize certain named Code Enforcement officials be vested
with the power to issue citations for violations of County
ordinances; and
WHEREAS, House Bill No. 3557, Chapter 76-435, Laws of
Florida, authorizes County and Zoning Enforcement Officials to
issue citations for violations of County ordinances; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 030-1988, an Ordinance of Monroe
County, Florida, authorizes Monroe County Code Enforcement
Officers, under the direction of the Code Enforcement
Administrator, to be enforcement officers for the purpose of
enforcing the provisions of the Monroe County Code pursuant to
Chapter 76-435, Laws of Florida; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Peter J. Horton, Marty Arnold, L.
Gene Favors, Sally Linck, Charles Eaves, Arby Odom, Miguel
Carbonell, Code Enforcement Officers; Gerald McLean, Pollution
Control Officer; Billy Humbert, Vicky Sweeting, Vernon Sawyer,
Linda McDill, Elke Hollie, Vicky Rister, Karen Grieb, Kerry
Fowler, Robin Zemmel, Teresa Laney, Robert Cunningham, David
Dietiker; Animal Control Officers are hereby
authorized to issue citations for violations of any Monroe
County Ordinance subject to the provisions of Ordinance No.
030-1988, an ordinance of Monroe County, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on this .Z1Oti- day of 4:J ' 1990, A.D.
