RESOLUTION NO. 327-1990
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ADMINISTRATIVE
BOUNDARY INTERPRETATION OF THE PLANNING
DIRECTOR IN LAND USE DISTRICT MAP BOUNDARY
INTERPRETATION NUMBER 51-A, AND AMENDING
THE DIRECTOR'S INTERPRETATION TO INCLUDE
SPECIFICALLY BLOCK 2 AS SUBURBAN
COMMERCIAL AND NOT IMPROVED SUBDIVISION,
FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED IN LARGO CITY
SUBDIVISION, KEY LARGO
WHEREAS, the property described in the Planning
Department Report of May 18, 1990, Largo City Subdivision
was zoned BU-2 and RU-1 under the zoning code in effect
prior to September 15, 1986 and;
WHEREAS, the current Land Use district boundaries were
placed in error with the adoption of the September 15,
1986 Land Development Regulations, and therefore the
subsequent maps were also in error, as they did not
follow the previous demarcated commercial boundary;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY

COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT:
The administrative decision of the Planning Director
in Land Use District Map Boundary Interpretation Number
51-A, dated May 18, 1990 is affirmed with respect to
Blocks 3, 6, 7 & 9 which, due to a drafting error, were
indicated in our records as Suburban Residential (SR)
and should have been designated as Improved Subdivi-
sion (IS). The Board does not affirm the
Director's

recommendation as to Block 2, but while we agree that
a drafting error did occur, we feel that the zoning should
have been designated as Suburban Commercial. With the
changes as outlined above, we
find this decision
to be in conformance with the standards set forth
in Section 9.5-3(M), Monroe County Code, and thus
are therefore approved.

of Monroe County, Florida, at regular meeting of said
