A RESOLUTION NAMING THE
ROAD "LYTTON'S WAY."
RESOLUTION NO. 281-1990

BIG PINE KEY ACCESS

WHEREAS, the Big Pine Key Access Road in Monroe County,
Florida, has not been formally named by the Board of County
Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, and
WHEREAS, Section 336.05, Florida Statutes, authorizes the
Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County to name and rename
streets and roads, except state roads designated by number by the
State Department of Transportation, lying outside the boundaries
of any incorporated municipality; and
WHEREAS, said road is not a state road designated by number
by the State Department of Transportation and is not within the
boundaries of any incorporated municipality, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the street commonly known as the Big
Pine Key Access Road, previous ly known as 20th Street, on Big
Pine Key, in Monroe County, Florida, is hereby named and
designated to be known as "Lytton's Way."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of the
Board be, and he is hereby instructed to forward certified copies
of this resolution to the Monroe County Property Appraiser, the
Monroe County Sheriff, the Director of Planning for Monroe
County, the Director of Public Works for Monroe County, the
United States Postmaster for the area including Big Pine Key, and
the chiefs of the fire and rescue departments serving Big Pine
Key.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the ~ day of May, A.D., 1990.
