A Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, directing that certain
Tourist Development Council expenditures which
have previously been authorized by the Board of
County Commissioners as explicit contractual

a~sing from Board of County Commission contractual
obligations, when additionally processed through the Tourist
Development Council; and
WHEREAS, Florida Statutes, in Chapter 125.0104, directs
that the Tourist Development Council be guided by such other
duties as prescribed by county ordinance or resolution;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, the following:
Section 1.
Any invoices involving contractual
obligations by the Board of County Commissioners, entered
into on behalf of and/or recommended by the Tourist
Development Council which are guided by explicit contractual
provisions and any invoices which are received that address
explicit budgetary line item authorizations in budgets
attached to and incorporated in such contracts, are
authorized for immediate processing and payment.
Section 2.
Such invoices as described in Section 1,
above, are to be received by the Administrative Office of
the Tourist Development Council, whereupon such office shall
immediately remit the same to the Clerk of the Board (after
appropriate informational recording of amounts, if
necessary) for payment.
Section 3.
Any discrepancies noted by the Clerk of
the Commission shall be directed to the Tourist Development
Council for clarification prior to payment, subject to
availability of funds.
Section 4.
The Clerk shall, if no discrepancies
exist, prepare payment remittance in fulfillment of invoiced
contractual obligation and immediately remit the same.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said
Board held on the 14th day of November, 1990.
