~ RE~LUTION SETTING DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR
oA ESBLIC HEARING FOR PROPOSED ABANDONMENT OF
PALM AVENUE, HOLIDAY HOMESITES SUBDIVISION,
KEY LARGO, MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
~rnEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, desires to hold a public hearing concerning the proposed
abandonment of the hereinafter described streets, alley-ways,
roads or highways, and
WHEREAS, under Chapter 336, Florida Statutes, it is neces-
sary to hold a public hearing after publishing due notice of said
hearing in accordance with said Chapter, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 18, 1990, at the
Elks Club, Tavernier, Monroe County, Florida, said Board will
hold a public hearing to determine whether or not said Board will
renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the public in
and to the following described streets, alley-ways, roads or
highways:
Commence at the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 4,
"Holiday Homesites" as recorded in Plat Book 2 at Page
168 of the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida,
thence N.89040'00" E. along the North line of said Lot
1, for a distance of 41.48 feet to the actual "Point of
Beginning;" thence N.89040'00" E. along the Easterly
extension of said North line for 60.00 feet to a point
of cusp; thence along a circular curve concave to the
Southeast, tangent to last described having a radius of
20.00 feet, a delta angle of 90000'00" for an arc
distance of 31.42 feet to a point of tangency; thence
S.00020'00" E. along the easterly right of way line of
Palm Avenue for 125.24 feet to a point of curvature;
thence along a circular curve concave to the Northeast
havin~ a radius of 20.00 feet, a delta angle of
91032 00"" for an arc distance of 31.95 feet to a point
of cusp on the North line of Oleander Street; thence S.
88008'00" W. along the Westerly extension of said North
line for 60.01 feet to a point of cusp; thence along a
circular curve concave to the Northwest, tangent to
last described having a radius of 20.00 feet, a delta
angle of 88028'00" for an arc distance of 30.88 feet to
a point of tangency; thence N.00020'OO" W. along the
Westerly right of way of said Palm Avenue for 126.84
feet to a point of curvature; thence along a circular
curve concave to the Southwest tangent to last
described having a radius of 20.00 feet, a delta angle
of 90000'00" for an arc distance of 31.42 feet to the
"Point of Beginning." Containing 3,663.2 square feet
more or less.
2. That the Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized to
publish notice of said meeting in accordance with the provisions
of Chapter 336, Florida Statutes.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
