Amendment (1st Amendment) to Agreement between Monroe County and The Key West Business Guild to exercise option to extend Agreement for two additional years, and to increase compensation. .I. Amendment (1st Amendment) to Agreement between Monroe County and The Key West Pops, Inc. to revise Exhibit A - Schedule of Events. Resolution No. 221-2007 transferring funds (from DAC IV Event Resources to DAC IV Advertising Campaign) Enclosed are two duplicate originals of each of the above-mentioned Amendments and one certified copy of the subject Resolution for your handling. TO AGREEMENT _ 1AJ,[ THIS AMENDME:NT to agreement dated the~day of the Board of County Commissioners for Monroe County, on The Key West Pops, Inc. 2007, is entered into by and between half of the Tourist Development Council, and WHEREAS, there was a contract entered into on October 18, 2006 between the parties, awarding $9,000 for the production of the Key West Pops Orchestra between November 11, 2006 and February 2, 2007; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to revise the schedule for the concerts; and WHEREAS, Exhibit A needs to be revised to reflect the change in concert dates and names; NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein the parties agree to the amended agreElment as follows: 1. NOVEMBER 15 and 17, 2006 JIM TRAINOR CABARET Jim opens the Pops season with a concert that offers music from the classical vocal recital repertoir,e including Opera Arias, plus memorable songs from the Broadway baritone songbook. His vocal program ranges from such composers as Brahms, Copland, Verdi, Strauss, Poulenc and Vaughan Williams to Bernstein, Rodgers, Sondheim, Loewe and Porter. JANUARY 6, 2007 WELCOME HOME, JERRY HERMAN! A perlformance of Jerry Herman's great music sung by two of his favorite singers, Lee Roy Reams, and Leslie Uggams. Program includes classically familiar songs from Mame, Mac & Mabel, Hello Dolly, Milk and Honey, Jerry's Girls, & La Cage aux Folies. Jerry will also sing a number of songs in person. FEBRUARY 3, 2007 FOLLIES IN CONCERT Susan Powell stars in and Rich Simone directs this production of one of Stephen Sondheim's big successes. Spencer Gates, Laurie Breakwell, Kristen Bussiere and Susie Speidel are featured and many of the singers will be selected from our local talent. MARCH 4, 2007 MUSIC mOM THE MOVIES Celebrate Oscar week with guest conductor Fr. Alphonse Stephenson and singers Bruce Reed and Victoria Atwater. Features Hollywood movie music by the likes of Cole Porter and Richard Rodgers.
