RESOLUTION NO. 458 -2002
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a name other than Monroe County Emergency
Medical Services would more accurately reflect the combination of services provided by the unified
segments of the Monroe County Fire Rescue services; and
WHEREFORE, the name is desired to be changed from Monroe County Emergency Medical
Services to Monroe County Fire Rescue,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA:
The name Monroe County Emergency Medical Services is hereby changed to Monroe County
Fire Rescue,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 16 th day of Dc tober , 2002.
