Resolution 257-1980RESOLUTION NO.257 -1980 RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE SOUTH FLORIDA EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING CONSORTIUM TO ALLOCATE CETA TITLES II-D AND VI FUNDS TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA FOR THE "PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM". WHEREAS, The South Florida Employment and Training Consortium has received funds for the operation of Titles II-D and VI Programs under the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973, and WHEREAS, said South Florida Employment and Training Consortium has allocated certain funds to be spent in Monroe County, Florida for the operation of said programs, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida does hereby allocate the following C.E.T.A. Titles II-D and VI funds: Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida "Public Service Employment Program" Title II-D $ 621,971.00 Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida "Public Service Employment Program" Title VI $ 133,664.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA that the South Florida Employment and Training Consortium allocate the above funds of $755,635.00 to the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida for the "Public Service Employment Program", BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD, that the Clerk of said Board be, and he is hereby authorized to forward certified copies of this resolution to the South Florida Employment and Training Consortium. The accounting system will have internal controls adequate to safeguard the assets of such agency, check for accuracy and reliability of accounting data, promote operating efficiency and encourage compliance with prescribed management policies of the agency.
