RESOLUTION NO. 33Q 1980
vlliEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, realize the gross deficiencies in the
supply of active recreational facilities in the Upper Keys,
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COlfrlISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1, That said Board hereby accepts the site plan prepared
by the Florida Department of Natural Resources as a conceptual
plan for the Harry Harry Harris Park Annex.
2, That said Board will accept five members of the Com-
munity Recreation Association Board of Directors to act as an
Advisory Board to the Commission and the Department of Parks
and Beaches, pertaining to the improvements of the Harry Harris
Park Annex,
3, That said Board, recognizing the need, does hereby
authorize and endorses the Community Recreation Association
Board of Directors to work in conjunction with the Florida
Recreational Development Assistance Program and the Department
of Natural Resources in obtaining State and Federal funds pertinent
ot the Harry Harris Park Annex.
4, That the Board does hereby commit Thirty Thousand
Dollars ($30,000,00) for use in the Harry Harris Park project
said funds to come from the Parks and Beaches budget,
Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting held on the 2nd day
of December, 1980,
