Ordinance 036-1988 County Commission ORDINANCE NO. 036 -1988 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MONROE COUNTY CODE SEC. 13.5-1 (c) (1), CONCERNING HOURS HARRY HARRIS PARK SHALL BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCE OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE MONROE COUNTY CODE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFEC- TIVE DATE. w~EREAS, it is the desire of the Board of County Commission- ers of Monroe County, Florida to increase the use of the Boat ramp area of Harry Harris Park; now, therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: Section 1. Sec. 13.5-1(c)(1) of the Monroe County Code is hereby amended to read as follows: The beach area of the park shall be open to the public, Monday through Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to sunset; the boat ramp area of the park shall be open to the public, Monday through Sunday from 8: 00 a.m. to one hour past sunset; and all persons and vehicles entering on any day utilizing those areas shall leave by the time designated of the same day. Vehicles remaining after hours in those areas shall be towed away at the owner's expense. Section 2. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or provision of this Ordinance is held invalid, the remainder of this Ordinance shall not be affected by such invalidity. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of said conflict. Section 4. The provisions of this Ordinance shall be included and incorporated in the Code of Ordinances of the County of Monroe, Florida, as an addition or amendment thereto, and shall be appropriately renumbered to conform to the uniform numbering system of the Code. Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon receipt of official notice from the Office of the Secretary of State of the State of Florida that this Ordinance has been filed with said Office.
