At the August 15, 2007, Board of County Commissioner's meeting the Board granted
approval and authorized execution of the following:
One-year Residential Lease Agreement between Monroe County and a law enforcement
officer selected by the Sheriff of Monroe County.
(1) Renewal and Amendment of Agreement between Monroe County and Synagro
Southeast, Inc. for Operation and Maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant at Marathon
Governrnent Center in order to renew for an additional one year period and clarify Item 4 in the
original Contract, Contract sum, and (2) Assignment and Assumption of Agreement of Contract
and Consent from Synagro Southeast, Inc. to Synagro South, LLC.
Lease Renewal and Amendment I between Monroe County and the State of Florida,
Department of Juvenile Justice to occupy office space on the second floor of the Department of
Juvenile Justice Building. The lease renewal shall commence on November 1, 2007 and end on
October 31, 2012.
I Lease Agreement Renewal between Monroe County and the Florida Keys Outreach
Coalition to occupy office space on the second floor of the Department of Juvenile Justice
Building. The lease renewal shall commence on October 1,2007 and expire on September 30,
2012.
Business Lease Renewal between Monroe County and Independent Mortgage and
Finance Company, Inc. for office space for the Technical Support staff of the 16th Judicial
Circuit. The lease renewal shall commence on October 1, 2007 and expire on September 30,
2008.

LEASE AGREEMENT RENEWAL

NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

THIS LEASE RENEWAL is made and entered into this J 5' day of
~ ' 2007, between MONROE COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY
COMM SSIONERS, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, (hereinafter Owner or
Lessor) party of the first part; and the FLORIDA KEYS OUTREACH COALITION
(hereinafter Tenant or Lessee), party of the second part, in order to renew the lease between
the parties dated August 21, 2002 (a copy of which is incorporated hereto by reference); as
follows:
I. Pursuant to Item 2. TERM, B. of the Lease dated August 21, 2002, Lessor and Lessee
wish to exercise the first of two five-year options to renew the lease.
2. Pursuant to Item 3. RENT, Rent is payable in advance and calculated by the rate
structure of $16.00 per square foot per year (approved by the Monroe County Board
of County Commissioners at their 7/26/00 meeting) plus the CPI-U of2.7% and may
be adjusted annually. Total rent will increase from Six Thousand Nine Hundred
Twenty-Six and 04/100 ($6,926.04) Dollars to Seven Thousand One Hundred
Thirteen and 041100 ($7,113.04) Dollars, with the monthly payment increasing from
Five Hundred Seventy-Seven and 171100 ($577.17) Dollars to Five Hundred Ninety-
Two and 75/100 ($592.75) Dollars.
3. The lease renewal shall commence on October I, 2007, and will expire on September
30,2012.
4. In all other respects, the original Lease Agreement for Non-Profit Organizations
