Yellow Brick Road, Inc. 3. Description of equipment, methods and procedures to be used: Please refer to the attached.description. 8111/00 BID PROPOSAL 00110-4 Proposal to the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners Description of equipment, methods and procedures to be used: A Vactor brand sewer cleaning machine will be used for pipe and catch basin cleaning. It uses 1500 PSI water jet at 80 GPM to clean the pipe and structures with the debris being removed by an 8-inch vacuum hose. The water/debris slurry is separated in the truck's debris tank with the water being returned to the storm system. Pneumatic plugs and turbidity screens will be used to prevent the discharge of turbid water through any outfalls. Wells will be cleaned using a high pressure jet as described above in combination with a vacuum pumper truck. The high pressure hose will be lowered into the well, followed by the pumper truck's 4-inch suction hose. Both will be lowered below the well casing depth where the water jet will loosen debris to be removed by the suction hose. The pumper truck will continue taking up water, reversing the flow of water. The water flowing into the well through the porous rock will remove fine particulate debris from the rock matrix, improving porosity. Wet debris will be dumped at KW Resort Utility on Stock Island where the debris will drain. The water will be treated at the FDEP permitted wastewater plant. The dried debris will be hauled away for disposal by a local transportation contractor. Submitted by Synagro Southeast, Inc. I acknowledge receipt of Addenda No.(s) .
