Should you have any questions please feel free to contact our office. cc: County Attorney Finanl:e File AMENDMENT (1 st AMENDMENT) TO AGREEMENT THIS AMENDMENT to agreement dated the I )>~y of tOtJ.^-2007, is entered into by and between the Board of County Commissioners for Monroe County, on behalf of the Tourist Development Council, and Middle Keys Events Council, Inc. WHEREAS, there was an agreement entered into on December 20, 2006 between the parties, awarding $35,733 to the Middle Keys Events Council, Inc. for the Marathon 5BI Offshore Grand Prix on May 18-20,2007; and WHEREAS, the scope of services within the agreement needs to be revised; and NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein the parties agree to the amended agreement as follows: 1. Paragraph 2 of the Agreement shall read as follows: Scooe of Services: Event Sponsor agrees to provide the County with an event as specified in the Scope of Services described in the funding application, including the following: a). A three (3) day Powerboat Race b). 20 boats to APBA official criteria at least 24 feet in length c). A minimum of one (1) day of boat racing d). A TV show aired on a national television network that will broadcast to fifty (50) million households to be aired by September 30, 2007. 2. The remaining provisions of the contract dated December 20, 2006 remain in full force and effect.
