QUITCLAIM DEED

THIS DEED, made this /1 day of January, 2001, by the Board of County
Commissioners of Monroe County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, party of the
first part, to James and Margaret Sprague, party of the second part, whose address is 416
Bayshore Drive, Ramrod Key, FL 33042.
WITNESSETH that the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum
of Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000.00), in hand paid by the said second party, the receipt is
hereby acknowledged, does hereby remise, release and quitclaim unto the said party of the
second part forever, all the right, title, interest, claim and demand which the said party has in
and to the following described real property lying and being in Monroe County, Florida, to wit:
The N'ly 12.5 feet of the N'ly 25 feet of part of Government Lot 4, Section 30,
Township 66 South, Range 29 East, lying and being adjacent to Johnson Street, as
shown on Plat of SILVER SHORES ESTATES, Ramrod Key, Monroe County,
Florida, as recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 111, Public Records of Monroe County,
Florida, and more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the South
East corner of Lot 14, Block 4, of said Plat, go S 000 00' 00" E 12.5 feet to a
point; thence go S 90000' 00" W 385 feet +/- to the shoreline of Niles Channel;
thence go N 230 18' 19" E 13.6 feet +/- along shoreline; thence go N 900 00' 00" E
380 feet +/- back to the point of beginning.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same together with all and singular the appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in anywise pertaining, and all the estate, right, title, interest, lien, equity
and claim whatsoever of the said first party, either in law or equity, to the proper use, benefit
and behoof of the said second party forever.
