FROM: At the November 14, 2007, Board of County Commissioner's meeting, the Board approved the following: Second Amendment to Interlocal Agreement to extend through September 30,2010 the Interlocal Agreement entered into September 18, 2002 between Monroe County and the City of Marathon for the County to provide the City contractor licensing and disciplinary services through the Monroe County Contractor Examining Board. Agreement to Terminate Agreement #IOI-555-2565A between Monroe County and Advanced Data Solutions, Inc. and to transfer remaining budgeted funds to Contract #101-555-2493A. No additional funds will be necessary; and granted approval and authorized execution of a Second Amendment and Extension of Agreement between Monroe County and Advanced Data Solutions, Inc. for Scanning, Indexing and Imaging of Building Department Files, Contract #101-555-2493A. Thank you. cc: County Attorney Finance File SECOND AMENDMENT TO INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT THIS SECOND AMEND~ENT TO INTE~CAL AGREEMENT ("Agreement") is made and entered into this /'1 day of Htve/ ''"- , 2007, between the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida ("County") and the City of Marathon, Florida, ("City"), WHEREAS, the parties entered into an Interlocal Agreement on September 18,2002, with an effective date of October II, 2002, for the County to provide to City contractor licensing and disciplinary stlrvices through the Monroe County Contractors Examining Board; and WHEREAS, the Interlocal Agreement had a two year term and allowed for the Agreement to be extended upon such terms as the parties may agree; and WHEREAS, the Agreement was amended by the parties on May 18, 2005 extending the term for the p,~riod beginning October II, 2004 through September 30, 2007; and WHEREAS, it is deemed in the public interest to continue the Agreement beyond its natural termination date; NOW THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERA nON of the mutual covenants contained herein, the PaeBes agree to the Second Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement as follows: ;~ ~ ;:' .~-~ C) ~I.~,~ iIilterlocal Agreement shall be extended for the period beginning October I, 2007 ;,. if tbIi~iigh September 30, 2010. c> ~ ~- ~ ",,- - 2. -Ng'lifi/es under paragraph 8.1 shall be provided to the current County Administrator, City ti ~ger and attorneys for the parties.
