Enforcement and Victor Mills, Jr. and Cynthia Mills.
ITEM BACKGROUND: A notice of violation was served on Victor and Cynthia Mills on or about
April 4, 2006, on the property located at 16 Calle Dos, Key West, Florida, alleging violation of Monroe
County Code Sections 9.5-111(1). A hearing was held on December 15, 2006, at which time fines were
imposed in the amount of $100 per day per count if the violations were not corrected by March 29,
2007, plus administrative costs of $100. The property came into compliance December 6, 2007. The
parties wish to settle this lien with the County and pay $1,078.50 to resolve the lien.

SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT
The Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County and Victor Mills, Jr. and Cynthia A.
Mills, Respondent(s), hereby agree to settle the code enforcement lien imposed in the above-
referenced case by the Special Master against property owned by the Respondent(s) for a total of
$1,078.50. r
The property in question has a legal description of East Rockland Key, PT GOUT, Lot 5,
Rockland Key, FL 33040, Monroe County, Florida (RE:00121980-000200). The lien was recorded
at Book 2339, Page 1105, of the Office Records of Monroe County.
The Respondent shall remit cash, money order or check in the amount of $1,078.50 made
payable to the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners. The County will hold the check
uncashed until approval of the settlement terms by the Monroe County Board of County
Commissioners, at which time the County will cash the check or deposit the funds.
Within 30 days of clearance of the check, the County shall provide to Respondent a release
and satisfaction of said lien, which the Respondent shall record in the Official Records of Monroe
County.
By entering into this agreement, any and all claims arising out of the above -captioned code
enforcement case shall be satisfied and concluded.
Each party shall bear its own costs and attorney's fees other than as specified in this
agreement.
